About eMentor

The electronic mentoring program at Wingate University School of Pharmacy was born out of Dean Supernaw's experience with a similar course at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Initially designed to pair a pharmacy student with an individual mentor, the course has evolved to the design you see here: a culturally relevant utilization of technology that will simultaneously enable mentors to respond to questions specific to their practice, interests and passions while allowing students to learn from the insight and real-world experiences of multiple mentors. Our aim is to allow first year pharmacy students to benefit from the opinions and attitudes of practicing pharmacists as they begin to shape their practice philosophy.
